I plan and produce one national Conference that runs five days per year, rarely twice, in the same city or venue. It is a complicated and complex event with as many as four plenaries, 50 breakouts, receptions, awards ceremonies, individual appointments, and more. It is the most significant public presentation of my organization's work, so it must run smoothly and professionally. It must also generate revenue. Before and during the Conference, I need to focus on session content, meaningful and problem-free exchanges with presenters and attendees, and take care of the more significant business of my organization.
